Chiavette (Tesno) Rod Ends: Rod ends are high-quality products and are made according to ISO 12240-4 K series and ISO 12240-1 K series respectively. They are maintenance-free and employ a coupling of tempered, polished steel (inner ring) on brass with PTFE (bonded to the inner surface of the outer ring), which guarantees lubrication during the operation. The support of the rod end is produced in automatic steel (11SMnPb30) from bore size 5mm to 12mm, successive sizes are produced in forged, tempered steel with a zinc-plated surface. The bronze outer ring containing the PTFE liner is cold-formed on the inner ring.
