NAK TC Nitrile Oil Seals: Oil seals are used in a variety of different applications in which a rotating shaft is lubricated by oil or grease. They are engineered to facilitate the smooth operation of your equipment, serving as a barrier to prevent the leakage of oils and greases while also keeping foreign substances from entering. TC type seals (Also commonly called R23 seals) are one of the most commonly used types, they have a rubber-covered outside diameter and feature a sealing nitrile rubber lip on the inside diameter as well as an external dust lip. The TC types feature a garter spring which allows some give to prevent a build-up of friction. (Seals under 5mm width may not always feature a spring.)
