SSUC or 10-G Series Stainless Steel Insert: Stainless steel sealed bearing insert with 2 grub screws to allow tightening against the shaft once fitted. This insert is typical of those found in housed bearings and has a spherical outer diameter to facilitate removal and re-fitting into a housing. Benefits: Cost effective stainless bearing insert, re-lubricatable, grub screw fixing, food safe and approved Note: These bearings will eventually corrode in a marine environment and it is recommended to completely cover with grease or similar protection where practical. Due to the material requirements of these bearings to have a hard-wearing construction, they will be made of a harder form of Stainless Steel, such as 440 or similar, which will be attracted by magnets. Quotations for non-magnetic versions are available upon request. |
