Description
NAK SO Nitrile Rubber Oils Seals: Oil seals are used in a variety of different applications in which a rotating shaft is lubricated by oil or grease. They are engineered to facilitate the smooth operation of your equipment, serving as a barrier to prevent the leakage of oils and greases while also keeping foreign substances from entering. SO seals are produced using new injection molding machines which fully cover the exterior of the seal with rubber to eliminate the risk of rusting. They have a rubber-covered outside diameter with a single sealing lip on the inside diameter. The SO types feature a garter spring which allows some give to prevent a build-up of friction. (Seals under 5mm width may not always feature a spring.)
Benefits: Excellent wear resistance, good running properties, high resistance to chemicals and petroleum-based fuels including petrol, diesel and LPG.
